A quick note about hiring me as a freelance marketer (or any other freelance marketer, for that matter).

I know it can be difficult to find a reliable freelance marketer/copywriter – especially if you’ve only been using platforms like Fiverr or Upwork until now.

So let me put everything on the table so you can decide whether I would be a good fit for your project or not.

  1. Let’s Talk About Rates

I charge per project, and here’s why.

It’s in our best interest. If I were to charge on an hourly basis, you would expect me to deliver the work FAST. Like, super fast. Too fast for what my feeble brain can deliver.

Now, I’m a chronic people pleaser. I try not to be, but I am. I hate saying “No” to people. I cringe even thinking about it. So if you ask me to deliver the project quickly, I load up on caffeine, order takeout, board up my apartment’s front door, and do so.

But if this happens, the project’s quality might suffer. If the quality suffers, you’re not happy, which means that I’m not happy. We both lose.

So I quote per project instead. This enables me to deliver work I can stand behind. Work that produces top results, so you’ll be happy. Which means that I’ll be happy. We both win.

Plus, charging per project eliminates possible surprises – you know exactly how much the project costs from the outset, so you don’t have to worry about me billing you for the time I spend playing Heroes of Might and Magic 3 or whatever.

Share your project details below and I’ll get back to you in 48 hours tops.

*That being said, I may make an exception and accept hourly-based work for long-term, retainer-based projects. If this is what you had in mind, let me know in the form below.

2. Some Thoughts On Projects

I do not accept any project that comes my way. I used to do that when I was starting out as a copywriter, and it made me feel miserable.

I once wrote some social media ads for a “guru” who charged a premium to pray for people. I felt… dirty. Felt even worse when the ads turned out great and started converting.

I’m honestly not proud of that. But those days are long gone.

Now I’m fortunate enough to have plenty of work on my hands. Too much work, if you ask my girlfriend (don’t, she bites). As a result, I refuse projects that don’t sit right with me.

3. A Few Notes On Delivery

I know. You want your project written, wireframed, and delivered as soon as possible. Trust me when I say that we both want the same thing.

But, as I mentioned earlier, I’m usually kinda busy. This means that I can’t deliver a project overnight.

As a rule of thumb, I work fast. I rely on well-honed processes to deliver work in a timely manner. Tell me what you’re looking for in the form below and I’ll get back to you in less than 48 hours.

In conclusion,

If you’re looking for someone who works at a low rate and delivers the work quickly because they aren’t interested in doing the research, you should look elsewhere.

But if you

  • Understand that effective marketing starts with research, and that research takes time…
  • Know that there’s a correlation between your marketing strategy, the copy on your website and the money you’re making…
  • Realize that there’s value in having a data-driven copywriter on your side…
  • And want to work with someone who likes to deliver work on time and within budget…

Then fill in the form below and I’ll get back to you in less than 48 hours.
